Description Moon and Sun

Our moon, the brightest object in the sky after the Sun, is the sole natural satellite of the Earth. Learn about the moon's relationship to, and impact on, the Earth, including a review of the recent total solar eclipse. Some of the interesting features on our nearest celestial neighbor will be presented also.

Tom gave a great presentation with images from the recent eclipse.
Mostly cloudy skies prevented most observing opportunities.

In addition to our presentation, we will have a laser-guided sky tour and telescope observing.
