Pelican Nebula (IC5070)
Part of the larger North American/Pelican Nebulae complex. This close-up on the "head" of the pelican was taken with a TMB130SS APO Refractor (130mm, f/7) and SBIG ST8300M CCD camera through a 7mn Hydrogen Alpha filter. This image is the result of a stack of twelve 10-minute exposures. Stacked with Deep Sky Stacker and post-processed with Photoshop CS5 levels and curves.
