Sculptor is a moderate sized constellation that lies directly east of Pisces Austrinus and south of Aquarius and Cetus. Sculptor was created by Lacaille and, as with his other constellations, Sculptor is comprised of dim stars between better known constellations. Sculptor has no mythology associated with it and none of the main stars are named.
